What’s that coming over the hill?
A monster?
You may notice the “hill” used in these pictures is nice and grassy, and taken in a public park. Now, why is that? Didn’t we have our own rubble hill in the backyard?
Well… No! It’s gone! We actually have a garden now, just in time for summer 🙂 (Or whatever season it is we are having now…)
And yes, we already have weeds growing in between our grass. Any tips on how to avoid those are more than welcome!

- Pattern: Irving the icebox monster from The Big Book of Knitted Monsters
- Yarn: Schachenmayr nomotta Bravo, leftover light green, dark green and red
- Needles: US 2½ – 3.0 mm dpns, Bergère de France, bamboo
- Stuffing: from Veritas
Now, I can’t remember facing problems when knitting this monster (I finished it quite a while ago already, I’m terribly behind in picture-taking and blog-updating), but through Ravelry I found there were errata available. Just so you know!
