Incognito cowl

I came across the pattern for this cowl while browsing on ravelry. I fell in love with it right away. I thought it would be an ideal little something for my husband.

I got some nice, soft and warm alpaca wool and got going on the mellow version. Just knitting round and round and round, only stopping twice to purl a row. It went really fast, I can highly recommend it.

Once the cowl was finished, all that was left to do was the decorating. I wanted to embroider the buckaroo mustache on it using a duplicate stitch. I thought this would be a piece of cake, but apparently it is an art I have not mastered that well yet.

Still, I got there in the end. And even though it’s spring, it’s still chilly in the morning. It doesn’t look exactly as I wanted it to look, but still, my husband went to work incognito today…
