Pouf! How to upcycle jeans
Ripped jeans may be all the rage at the moment, but the ones we had here at home were torn in places of which I preferred people didn’t see them. Then again, I couldn’t just throw them out either. But I did have all the ingredients needed for an upcycle project. A pouf! From jeans! With pockets and everything!
Inspiration and instructions I got from Michele Made Me. 12 wedges, each consisting of 3 pieces, made from 4 different pairs of jeans. All mixed up!
I also recycled 2 back pockets and sewed them on the side of the pouf. Always handy to tuck away the remote controls, or to easily lift the thing.
For the bottom I used a sturdy piece of dark cotton.
For the inside, I used some worn pillows that were ready to move to the recycling park.
And now, hair down and feet up!
What do you do with your old pairs of jeans?
