Bow ties

There was an official party around here, and official parties ask for official bow ties.

I used the Faux Bow Tie pattern from Just Another Day in Paradise, and some left-over flamingo fabric that I used before to make the e-reader cover. Et voilà, ready for the big party!

And since it appears to be the time for big official parties, there’s another one coming up for another little boy, who’s now in desparate need of a bow tie.

I made it even easier for myself. Using a white piece of ribbon, I finished the edges, folded it in the same way as the Faux Bow Tie. I wrapped some more ribbon around it to get a nice bow, and finished it all with some more ribbon and velcro. Et voila, another little boy ready for a big party!

And on top of that, these bow ties are excellent fancy bibs too!
