Quiet book – Rooster

Time for page 2 of the quiet book. After the sheep, the rooster.

Once again with felt, googly eyes and embroidery yarn. And some feathers I got at De Banier, since I’m not too apt to get too close to a rooster in real life. I also filled its chest with a bit of stuffing. To give the impression of real crowing.

Making these pages is easier than I had expected at first. I just make a sketch on paper, determine what should go on top of what, and do my thing, while watching an episode of this or that series. Favourite of the moment: Falling skies. Still one season to go, so I should be able to get a third page finished. Now, where’s the remote?
