Denise interchangeable knitting needles

Denise has arrived and she brought her needles, woot!

I’ve wanted to get circular knitting needles for a while now, but I found it rather hard to buy a pair. Not only do you have to keep the size of the needle in mind, you also have to think of the lenght of the cord. I didn’t really want to buy hundreds of pairs of different sizes and lengths. So I started surfing the net, and I came across the Knit Denise website. Just what I needed! Of course,  it couldn’t be this easy, right? When I tried to order them, I found out they didn’t ship them outside the US. So I started looking for a site that did. Unfortunately, no Belgian site was offering them. I did find the Dutch site Tissien. And not only did they sell them, they had them in pink as well!

Apparently, the pink version is a special version. It costs 5 dollars more than the blue kit, but those 5 dollars are donated to breast cancer research. Pink knitting for a good cause! Now, let’s get started on a pair of socks. Or a hat. Or a bag.
