Vintage sewing tin

My dad went on a daytrip to the Netherlands and saw this vintage sewing tin.

vintage tinIsn’t it lovely?
vintage tinSince we had the first snow of this winter only yesterday, I thought today would be a great day to take the tin outside and take some pictures in the snow.

I also noticed that the garden gnomes hadn’t been able to escape the snow.

And with the building materials still lying around, the one in the back even  looks like he’s lost an eye. I swear he hasn’t, it’s just an optical illusion!

Doing big renovations also means that you end up with quite a large amount of rubble. We’ve already had several containers removed, but right now, our garden is piled up once again. But just a tiny layer of snow makes it look pretty idyllic in the end.

Just a little bit more snow, and we can rent this place out as a skiing resort 😉

  1. OMG girlie, the tin is sooo cute. I heart it! That was really sweet of your dad 🙂 I am going to refer to it in my ‘arts and crafts’ section. Poor gnome, it does really look like it lost an eye : o
