Hello, and welcome to my blog. I’m Lies. I’m in my thirties, I live in Ghent, I’m married to hubby, I have two sons, and I work as a communication specialist for an IT company in Ghent.
I started this blog in 2009. Back then, this place was still called Knitty Crochety, and my aim was to explain a bit more about the patterns I was using: what yarn did I use, which techniques, and what had I altered. If something wasn’t clear to me and I need to go and find how to do something, I wrote a tutorial about it myself. And I shared those tutorials on this blog.
What started as Knitty Crochety, mainly aimed at, well, knitting and crochet, has now evolved into Abfabulies (named after Absolutely Fabulous, and that’s the only link with this blog). You’ll find:
